Narrative one explores Charlotte's experiences, revealing a deeper lesson in resilience and the complex relationship between creative passion, financial stability and time. Having worked full-time during her third year, Charlotte understands the "nasty cycle" where a lack of money leads to a lack of energy, hindering the ability to dedicate time to the work she prefers physical creation and shooting on film which is also constrained by the cost of materials. While the uncertainty of a creative career is likened to a "roller coaster" of highs and lows, the most important truth learned is the ability to "just pick myself back up again" after inevitable setbacks, like job rejections. Ultimately, Charlotte’s goal is to reach a point where her work is "really fulfilling," a pursuit so important that the only other acceptable career path would be something equally meaningful, like being a doctor. This pursuit of fulfilment requires sustaining energy and preventing burnout, which she now addresses by finding a clearer sense of direction and intent, moving from "wandering aimlessly" to viewing their work as "stepping stones."
